Roy, The Lazy Boy Of Troy

This is a short poem about a boy called Roy. This was written by me and this particular poem follows a fixed rhyming scheme. Just sit back and enjoy the story of Roy !!!!!!!!!!!!

There in the city of Troy,
Was a family with a boy called Roy.

This idle boy of troy,
Made every boy love their toy.

His mind was hazy,
And his manners were simply lazy.

He was lazy like a sloth on a tree,
And as lazy as a male honey-bee.

He loafed around night and day,
And no one has ever seen him with a little gay.

Sitting idle and sleeping always,
Are his hobbies till this day.

His parents consulted the doc'
But saw no way to open his lock -
Of idleness that made him
As lazy as a lazy Tim.

One day there was much fog,
That you wouldn't want to take out your dog.

That day our hero wakes and brushes his teeth,
With much hate, that makes you not want to breathe.

He eats food and takes his bag,
And walks to school with a lag.

He limps outside and sees the fog,
He gets an idea as sticky as a bog.

He turns and goes back,
And puts on a face which happiness lack.

His mom who is surprised, barks -
"Why are you back here ? " she asks.

She says in a grumpy rage,
"Why are you here ? Oh ! you spoilt page !! "

"The school has disappeared mummy !! "
Comes the clever reply to the angry mummy.

Her mouth opened wide, she stared back,
Not knowing what to say; she was taken aback.

What can you say to this idle lad ?
And not make yourself mad and your temper go bad.
